KATAKLYSM, DYING FETUS, ELUVEITIE, KEEP OF KALESSIN Dates Announced
July 31, 2008The first set of headlining dates from Canadian hyper-blasters KATAKLYSM has been announced. Dubbed the second annual Death By Decibels tour, this year's installment will also feature DYING FETUS, ELUVEITIE and KEEP OF KALESSIN. Additional shows, including dates in Canada with special guest ARSIS, will be announced shortly. Look for more regional guests to be announced on several shows soon as well.

Guitarist Jean-Francois Dagenais of KATAKLYSM recently posted the second video report from the Summer Slaughter tour, also featuring THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, VADER, CRYPTOPSY, THE FACELESS, DESPISED ICON, ABORTED, BORN OF OSIRIS, PSYCROPTIC and WHITECHAPEL. Watch the 10-minute clip below.
KATAKLYSM recently re-signed with Nuclear Blast Records for the fourth time; a first in the history of the label. It is a partnership that has thrived for the past 15 years and has produced such classics as "Temple of Knowledge", "Shadows and Dust" and "In the Arms of Devastation".
As previously reported, KATAKLYSM's new album, "Prevail", sold 2,250 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD, which was mixed at AudioHammer Studios in Orlando, Florida with producer Jason Suecof, features guest solo appearances by Pat O'Brien (CANNIBAL CORPSE),Dave Linsk (OVERKILL) and producer and guitar shredder Jason Suecof himself. "Prevail" also includes a bonus DVD with a full performance recorded from a live Internet concert stream at DeepRockDrive studios in Las Vegas, NV on December 3, 2007.
